Option 1 (Best): Show Up In Person and Speak
Where: 12th Floor, City Administration Building (202 C Street, San Diego, CA 92101)
What to Do:
Arrive early (allow time for parking, security, and filling out a speaker slip).
Fill out a speaker slip when you get there (required to speak).
When called, go to the podium, say your name, who you represent (if anyone), and speak for up to 1 minute.
Tip: Bring a few talking points, but passion matters more than perfection! Carpooling is recommended!
Parking Tip: Park at Evan V. Jones Parkade (1265 First Ave), enter at 1st Ave & B St.
Option 2: Show Up In Person With a Sign
Where: Same as above (City Administration Building).
What to Do:
Hold a simple, clear sign (“Save Our Station” or “Protect Our Community”).
Your presence shows visible opposition — you don’t have to speak.
Tip: Energy and turnout make a HUGE impact even without speaking!
Option 3: Call In and Make a Public Comment

The City Council Committee meetings will continue to be held virtually using the Zoom Webinar platform. Members of the public can offer public comment on agendized items or during Non-Agenda Public Comment by accessing the meeting online using a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or Smartphone, or by calling into the meeting using a Smartphone, cellular phone, or land line.
